Savvy who is fourteen plays basketball, she is one of the best ones in her age group. She usually tries out for the sixteen age group, but a person she met wants her to tryout for the eighteen year old group. So she decided to give it a try. After the tryouts the couch talked to her about if he lets her join this team she has to improve on being a better teammate. Savvy is used to carrying out the team because she is the best. My prediction is she will start to take some pills to boost up her playing. When I first looked at the book cover I knew that it had something to do with taking pills and basketball. I just didn't know what the relationship between the two. The name of the book said she was trying to boost something up or herself. I was curious so I read the summary of the book. The summary said, "How far will she go to do that?" Meaning so far will she go to boost up her playing. So while I was reading I found out she loves basketball a lot. She is so good that she is a fourteen year old playing with sixteen year old and she is at the top. Some people are willing to do anything to be the best at the thing he does. The couch for the eighteen year old group says that she has to work very hard if he lets her join the team. She is used to carrying on the team because she is the best, but now she has to learn to work together. I also think she is going to take pills because the eighteen year old's didn't think that she could do it. So she wouldn't want to give up and be bullied if she doesn't make it. The girl she met got in and she doesn't want to seem like a failure. Plus if she doesn't make it she won't have anyone else to talk to. Last but not least she won't be able to join another team because she tried out for the eighteen year old one.
