Reading Journal Week 31 - Pure Emotion - 2016

I am doing a Pure Emotions Blog Post.

ASK ME NO QUESTIONS

MARINA BUDHOS

This book is about a family who are Muslim, and are trying to find a permanent place to live. There passports are expired, so if the wrong person finds out they will be put in jail. They are trying to get to Canada to sign up for asylum. When they get to the bored of Canada they have some difficulties. Father is put into person and the only way for him to come out is if they pay $5,000. There family is very poor they don't have this kind of money. This made me feel sad that they have been trying to find a place to call home, but can't find one because of their religion. Image you and your family driving from place to place, trying to find a country, a state, a city, a town that will accept you, but none do. I also feel mad that people back then and now can be so harsh and hateful of what people believe. It's not fair for someone to be worrying about were they are going to stay, what they are going to eat, are they protected at the place they are at. People don't care about other peoples needs, wants, beliefs like they should. Would you want to feel rejected everywhere you go, not feeling accepted? Would you really want to live in fear everyday? Some people don't know what they are causing these people. Some don't care what they would to people, as long as there life is perfect. People can be so selfish and so mean to other people because they don't act or believe like you. It's not fair to anyone.
