Reading Journal Week 30 - Book Review - 2016

I am doing Book Review Blog Post.

Playing Cupid
Jenny Meyerhoff

The book was about a girl named Clara who matched people together. She would play this game at the store with her friend, Emily. Clara used to get bullied at her old school, so see chose to be friends with a popular group of people. Soon her school does something to raise money and the children have to come up with a business. Clara chooses to do a matchmaking business. The story is basically about her trying to find a balance between her parents divorce, friends, boyfriends, and school work.
I liked how the girl didn't want to find love, but she ended up doing so in the end. It is like telling the people out there who don't think love will work for them that they might find love when they don't mean to. It might not work for some people, in the beginning, that doesn't mean you have to give up.
The book is too cliche, I could basically predict what happened. They make to many books like this. It would have been better if something bad happened, instead of something good. Why do books like this always have to end on a good note?
Out of ten, I give it a six. I give a six because the book was kind of cliche but it was also good. I wouldn't really recommend this book to a person who takes books seriously or hates cliche books. I would maybe recommend it for someone who doesn't really have experience with cliche books or doesn't mind them.
